About Us

Our Story

Bojangles started in 1977 in Charlotte, North Carolina, when Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas opened the first restaurant. Their idea was simple: serve bold, Southern flavors with a smile. Since then, Bojangles has grown into a well-loved name across the Southeast, while staying true to its roots.

What We’re Known For

At Bojangles, flavor comes first. Our Cajun-seasoned fried chicken is marinated for hours, hand-breaded, and cooked to crispy perfection. We’re also famous for our buttermilk biscuits, baked fresh every 20 minutes. Along with chicken and biscuits, our menu includes classic Southern sides like seasoned fries, dirty rice, mac & cheese, pinto beans, and coleslaw.

Southern Hospitality

Great food is only part of what makes Bojangles special. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles and friendly service. We believe in treating every guest like family and making every visit a little brighter.

Growth and Expansion

From one restaurant in North Carolina, Bojangles has grown to over 750 locations across the Southeastern United States, including South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and Tennessee. Even as we expand, our promise stays the same: fresh food, bold flavors, and true Southern hospitality.

Looking Ahead

Bojangles continues to adapt with the times. From adding lighter options like salads and grilled chicken to introducing mobile ordering, delivery, and rewards programs, we’re always working to make your experience easier and better — while keeping the flavors you love.
